Mercé Fernández
I am an interior designer and a licensed Real Estate Agent (API), with more than 10 years of experience working with real homes — spaces that are lived in, transformed, and adapted to different stages of life. Throughout this journey, I have combined property sales and management with interior design and renovation, always from a perspective that is both practical and sensitive.
I am interested in understanding how people live in their homes, what they need to change, and how to do it without losing the essence of the space. That is why I work by listening, observing, and translating ideas into coherent, realistic, and well-executed solutions. Spaces designed to last, to function well, and to feel good to live in.
My experience in renovations has taught me that detail matters, but so does the process. I support each project with presence, sound judgment, and care, working alongside a trusted team of professionals who share the same values, high standards, and a way of working based on structure, respect, and quality execution.
This is how Las Manitas de Fem Homes was created, an initiative through which I actively promote the presence of women in the construction and renovation sector, creating real opportunities and a more conscious, structured, and respectful way of working, without ever compromising on excellence.
Fem Homes is a boutique studio. I work on a limited number of projects at a time to be fully involved in each one and provide close, honest, and professional support. I believe in a way of working that is calm, well considered, and carefully executed — both for the spaces themselves and for the people who live in them.
